On #WorldAIDSDay, the Center commends the #Biden A

On #WorldAIDSDay, the Center commends the #Biden Administration for pledging to end the HIV epidemic by 2030. We are especially heartened by President Biden's plan to update the National #HIV/#AIDS Strategy to include recognition of racism as a “serious public health threat” and add a new focus on HIV among aging populations. We have an obligation to honor the lives of #Black and #Latinx #LGBTQ community members by implementing strategies that specifically address the disproportionate impact HIV/AIDS has on these communities. #Homophobia, #transphobia, and #racism must be addressed in a comprehensive and integrated way in the fight to end HIV/AIDS and this commitment from the Biden Administration is a significant step in the long journey to end this epidemic. #WAD
